Paralyzed Dog Becomes Fully Mobile After Love and Care Given by Rescuers

2 Mins read

There are so many animals around the world that need our help.

Luckily, there are also a lot of people willing to go out of their way to show kindness to these animals.

Take a look at this dog rescue video …

Comfy was found by Animal Aid Unlimited, a street animal rescue, and sanctuary in India. He was in horrible condition and couldn’t walk.

They weren’t sure what caused his condition but his spine was hurt and he couldn’t stand. The poor dog’s legs were limp and useless … and someone loosely tied them together.

Comfy was clearly in pain but endured the rescuers’ initial care as they looked over his condition. They named him Comfy because he was so relaxed and enthusiastic when they fed him.

When he started to feel better, though, he began to bark and growl, making the rescuers think that they named Comfy too soon. Although it was clear that Comfy didn’t want to be touched, the rescuers continued giving Comfy the love and care he needed. They knew without physiotherapy, he would probably never walk again.

It was worth it, though! After almost a half year of treatment, the transition from paralysis to a fully mobile and happy dog is amazing!

At Karmagawa and SaveTheReef we love stories like this. We don’t know how Comfy was hurt and why someone would tie him up like that but we know that animals deserve so much better from us humans. We can do better to take care of all living things and, thankfully, organizations like Animal Aid Unlimited is doing the work to get this done. We’re so proud of them and we’re happy to help support their work!
